From the moment I entered this world, I was given the name Woods — a name that has shaped my path and deepened my lifelong connection to nature. I was given this name by my father, a therapist himself who inspired in me both a deep love for nature and a lifelong commitment to caring for others. Growing up, I witnessed therapy to be a nourishing and restorative part of life, which deeply rooted the belief that healing is something we all deserve.

Over the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals through some of life’s most vulnerable and difficult moments, including trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, grief, PTSD, foster care and adoption, relationship wounds, chronic illness, parenting challenges, transitions into motherhood, and the loss of loved ones. 

I’m deeply committed to a lifetime of learning and growing, and in a world where oppressive systems do immense harm, I believe in creating a space rooted in safety and acceptance. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and strongly committed to racial justice and anti-oppressive care.

Also at the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens through strong, supportive relationships where all parts of you are welcomed and seen. I believe in the principle of doing no harm, and I aim to be one of your biggest supporters as you overcome challenges in your life. I believe in you and your ability to do hard things, and I’ll be right there with you through some of your hardest moments. I also believe you deserve all the healing that you can possibly have in this life, and it’s my honor to guide you on your healing journey.

When I’m not in session, I’m often dancing to house music, exploring the outdoors with my fur baby Lola, climbing mountains, taking long scenic road trips, getting happily lost in nature, and spending time with my family by birth and by choice.

These moments help me stay grounded, replenish my spirit, and bring an immense amount of joy to my life.
